Fred Likes Classic Rock

The schedule for making toffee was slightly different when we were at our former kitchen.  My husband Ron and I would put the kids to bed and have Grandma stay with them.  We’d make the 30 minute drive to our kitchen and work for around 3 hours to be home by midnight.  We did that 2 nights a week.  Now, I am very excited to say that my new kitchen at The Old Town Hall is less than 5 minutes away.  I still plan to work at night, but I can spend much more time in production versus driving.

In my first week at The Old Town Hall, Ron was out of town on business.  I was running my usual night schedule, making toffee after dark.  I had the radio on in the kitchen, tuned to my favorite Classic Rock station when the phone rang.  My dear friend Priscilla called to chat, so I switched off the radio while I had her on speaker phone.  We continued our conversation for about 5 minutes when all of a sudden, the radio was switched back on.  And let me clarify here: it had been switched with a physical movement to OFF only for it to be turned back ON with the reverse physical movement.

Nice to meet you, Fred.  I guess you’re trying to tell me that you enjoy my music selection.
